One of the trends that we’ve been seeing on runways is waist definition. If you love to show off your curves and femininity, this is the perfect style for you! MRD also thinks that this is a very versatile trend that can be worn from days to nights with slightly adjustments. Here is how MRD would style the “waist definition” trend, in three different ways!
1. Dressed up
We love how this dress is shaped to define your waist. This bandage dress will huge your curves in all the right ways and the thick band around the waist will give off the illusion of a small waist. The dress we chose is a cool-toned color, so we accessorized it with a silver glitter clutch to make it a more formal look. Adding the crystal necklace will instantly dress up the look, and finish off with a silver pair of strappy heels. This outfit is perfect for a cocktail party or any event that requires you to be formally dressed.

2. Peplum Top
Peplum tops has been seen everywhere from the runways to the street styles. This is definitely an eye-catching piece and can easily be dressed up or down. The peplum top that we chose brings such a feminine feel to this look. You can pair it with black jeans for a work environment. Add a statement necklace to glam up the look along with a black handbag so all of the attention will be on your peplum. Also, this nude and black cap toe pumps will add the perfect touch to the outfit without stealing the spotlight from the top.

This coral peplum dress will help you stand out in your office without being too bold. To add more definition to your waist, choose a color-block dress and add a mint green belt to keep a summer vibe. Since there is a lot of color going on already, wearing a pair of nude shoes will help elongate your legs without taking the attention away from the dress. To complete the look, add this white bag that also has silver detailing to match the belt!
